Ashley and Rob were married on April 21st at The Gallery and there was not one detail that wasn’t thought through for their big day. Ashley took such care into thinking about her guests’ experience; she wanted everyone to feel welcomed, have their personalities shine through and for everyone to dance the night away!
Having fun was guaranteed with this group of family and friends. The day was filled with laughter while reminiscing with the best of friends by the bridesmaids and the groomsmen.
The sweetest moment of the day happened right before the ceremony when Ashley chose to do a first look with her Dad and her little brother. Their reactions to seeing her for the first time was perfect!
The exciting energy coming off of everyone was so contagious throughout the morning that no one was at all concerned about the possibility of rain.
There has never been a bride so confident about the timing of the rain on their wedding day like Ashley. She just knew that the rain would hold off long enough for their gorgeous ceremony on the patio, and guess what – it did!
Look at that smile!
The rain held off just long enough to have cocktail hour on the upstairs patio and to take some beautiful pictures along the recently bloomed ivy wall with our newlyweds.
One thing I try to get all my couples to do right before their grand entrance is to have a private meal or appetizers just the two of them in the bridal suite. This will most likely be the chance the bride and groom have a moment to themselves for the rest of the night. This is also the best time to get a little something in your stomach after a long morning of primping and getting ready! Once you enter the reception it’s slightly difficult to eat your meal while it’s hot when guests are eager to congratulate you. Take a moment to let it all soak in and enjoy it with your new husband!
Ashley wanted to make sure that all the important men in her life got a moment in the spotlight and surprised her step-dad Leo with a special dance. His expression says it all!
I don’t think there was ever a moment in the night that the dance floor was empty! This group was ready to dance and what better ending for these dancing queens other than a confetti drop!
Ashley and Rob thank you so much for making me a part of your day! You two are some of the sweetest people I have met! My prayer for you is to never stop dancing and having fun with one another!
