Rachel and Cody might have been married on a rainy day last December at The Vine but their wedding was anything but gloomy!
Throughout the entire day you could see the giddiness in everyone in anticipation to get Rachel and Cody married, no matter what the weather was doing outside.
Rachel was the most beautiful bride and even prettier on the inside! This marriage has been 8 years in the making! Cody and Rachel first met at the Fort Bend County Youth Rodeo and were inseparable ever since. The love these two share for one another is inspiring, you can tell they really are each other’s best friend.
When asked what memories they are looking forward to making as a married couple, they both responded with spending time with one another and building their home together. You can tell from their first look alone they are crazy for one another! I have told brides this in the past but it is so rare to see two families come together so seamlessly! These two families surrounded this couple with love and support all day. Keeping everything focused on Rachel and Cody. A little rain won’t keep the smile off of Rachel’s face when she is walking to her future! Something I love to asked my couples when we start working together is “What is your favorite thing about your finance?” Rachel and Cody’s responses couldn’t have been sweeter. Rachel had many things she loves about her groom but her favorite thing is his positive outlook on any situation. Which came in very handy with rain on their wedding day.
But really who doesn’t love a cowboy that can two step? When I asked Cody what his favorite thing was about his bride he said it has to be her kind heart. Which Rachel showcased throughout our entire planning process. I am always interested to see what advice my past brides might have for our future brides. When I asked Rachel what she wanted to share with all engaged couples going through the planning process she simply said “Enjoy the moments! It’s a once in a lifetime event so soak all the fun moments in. Try not to stress about the small stuff!”.
I’m honestly really sad that this one came to an end. When planning every little detail for a year it’s hard to imagine not seeing this gem regularly. BUT I’m so happy to see how happy these two are. Rachel and Cody I am praying for years of love and laughter over your marriage!
