I met Christa and her mom at a coffee shop last January. I love getting to know our brides and after hearing Christa explain her passion for serving others through missionary work I knew I’d love working with her. She truly has a servant’s heart and throughout planning every decision that needed be made she would always ask what will make our guests feel most appreciated and loved.
I adored her unique approach to planning her wedding and in the end was amazed at how beautifully the thoughtful details all came together.
Christa’s sisters were by her side the whole day doting on her and sharing laughs.
Before starting the ceremony each of Christa’s bridesmaids spoke their own prayer over her marriage and her new role as a wife.
Daddy-daughter moments get me every time. I so wished my dad and I would’ve had a first look.
Christa served at an orphanage in Uganda while her and Brady were dating. These ornaments served as favors to their guests and were handmade by women in Uganda from the same cloth they used to make their clothing. I loved how bright and colorful they were, no two were the same.
Christa and Brady requested that their bridal party and immediate family join them at the altar for a prayer after communion.
Being pie lovers C+B opted to forego the traditional wedding cake for pie! I fully supported their decision and indulged in a slice…or two.
Lifelong friendships are such a gift! This is Christa’s mom (pictured right) with her dear friend Leona (pictured left) who is an incredibly talented interior designer from London. Leona decorated The Farmhouse beautifully with cozy furnishings and beautiful floral.
Christa and Brady love classic Christmas movies so they had films, like A Charlie Brown Christmas, projected on the lawn. Guests were encouraged to grab a warm cup of joe from Java Pura and snuggle up with blankets to watch. This was one of my favorite details of their day.
These two couldn’t be any cuter if they tried!
Christa and Brady, I’m praying many years of love, laughter, and adventure over your marriage. My heart was filled with joy seeing God bring your two families together and I can only imagine all the good He will call you to do as husband and wife.
