Paige and Joel were married on a beautiful spring day at The Vine. I loved all of the design elements Paige picked out for her big day. Fresh Blooms of Houston did a magnificent job on the floral. The marigold popped next to the wine colored flowers making them the perfect touch to this elegant hill country wedding.
In most weddings my two favorite moments are usually the first look and the private last dance. Paige chose to do a first look with her dad and another with Joel. Her sweet dad got a little choked up which caused my tears to overflow. Man, a good daddy/daughter moment gets me every time.
Paige and Joel’s private last dance certainly didn’t disappoint either. This is always one of my favorite moments because it allows the couple to soak up one last moment together. Towards the end of the song most couples hang back a minute or two and look all around the room taking it all in. The candles are still flickering with a warm glow, floral is still fresh and beautiful, there are chairs pulled to the edge of the dance floor so grandparents could watch that infamous first dance, and drinks are half empty on tables from the bar proving their guests had nothing short of a good time.
