Caitlin and Kelly were such a joy to be around during the planning process of their classic novel-inspired wedding. Kelly knew just how to make Caitlin laugh when she felt a little bogged down by the details and you could visibly see her relax.

Caitlin is an English teacher and her love for classic novels runs deep. She incorporated many of her favorites in the decor. There were table runners made out of book pages and beautiful floral centerpieces perched perfectly on top of a stack of antique books written by some of her favorite authors such as Hemingway. I share Caitlin’s love of reading and in all my years of wedding planning I haven’t had an opportunity to incorporate classic novels into decor. So thank you, Caitlin, for speaking my love language!

Aside from Caitlin’s astounding DIY skills in her decor I think my favorite element of her wedding was the display of allllllll the cakes done by the ever so fabulous Maple and Love! Y’all, I could smell the buttercream as soon as they walked through the door to deliver them. So. Good.
