Whew! Booking season is no joke y’all! We had the pleasure of attending 6 open houses in the past month and a half. Even more wonderful than that we had the distinct pleasure of producing two of them, one at The Vine and one at The Farmhouse.
Producing an open house is a lot of work and A LOT of fun. We were responsible for securing vendors, logistics, answering countless questions, schematics, timelines, set up, break down, and even a little marketing and advertising. These shows always produce great results for brides and is the perfect way to find your dream vendors. I might be a little biased…ok, ok a lot biased, but I’m certain Houston has the BEST vendors in Texas. They’re all stuffed to the brim with Southern hospitality and it’s always a joy to work with them!
First up is a little glimpse of all the fun that was had at The Farmhouse’s inaugural open house this past weekend! They had over 300 guests in attendance and fun was had all around. All photos were generously provided by the talented Breanna McKendrick Photography.

Big hugs to College Park Flowers for making our booth look {and smell} so pretty with their fresh florals!

Can we all just take a moment to praise how beautiful this chapel is?! I mean seriously, check out all of that natural light!!

Red Sage Catering has the best farm to table cuisine – I may or may not have had 3 of his specialty grilled cheese sandwiches.

I can’t even handle how beautiful these place settings were from Love Birds Vintage Rentals. Pink depression glass makes my heart sing!

Fun fact: Ginger Snaps’ cute camper photobooth actually fits onto the porch at The Farmhouse which makes a great rain plan!

All in all it was a fabulous open house and we couldn’t be more grateful for The Farmhouse and all of our friendors. Hello March and springs weddings!
